Here's my Etsy Treasury of these lovely tangerine beauties:  http://www.etsy.com/treasury/MTMxMzY3OTB8MjcyMzAzNDcwMA/beautiful-tangerine

My entry was inspired by visualizing the tango.  I wanted to capture the mood and movement as it is performed.  My first challenge was to create in bead form what I saw in my head and I knew I wanted a pendant that captured the deliberate and graceful kicks and steps of the dance.  This following picture was my interpretation of one of the poses of the dance.

Tangerine Tango Necklace, EBWC for July

My necklace has two of these on each side of a triple pendant created to unify them.  The broken scallop necklace is a representation of the progressive flirtation of the dance as the couple moves along the dance floor:  close embrace, subtle outsteps, embracing arches and overt declaration!   I loved how it all turned out. The process was made even more wonderful because I was staying with my 20-year-old granddaughter, recovering from gall bladder surgery and working on her smashbook. Her input at crucial points kept me from discouragement as I reworked the pendant portion time and again.

    1. Smashbook is the latest craze in memory keeping. To me the book looks like a journal that is already partially scrapbooked and you then purchase more scrapbooking items to go with your photos or pictures of favorites, inspirational sayings, etc. We have a store chain here called Michaels that is doing very well with these.
